My College Roommate Murdered...R.I.P. Brad Gerrard
Today I learned some very sad and disturbing news. My Freshman year college Room mate, Brad Gerrard, who was working as a corrections officer was murdered in cold blood last night in Buckeye, Arizona.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Brad's wife, children and extended family. He leaves behind his pregnant wife and one child.

I wanted to thank you for this tribute to Brad Gerrard. He was my cousin and I loved him very much. Hearing about his murder has been very hard on my family, but to know that he was loved by so many people gives me some comfort.Thank you.
Thank you for your tribute. He's my ex brother in law. Its hard hearing that he's gone, and he'll be missed. My kids miss their uncle Brad very much. He was a great man. My kids had so much fun with him, and were looking forward to their next visit with him.
My heart goes out to his wife and children. I heard about the baby and the murder in the same conversation. I felt so bittersweet.
Wow. This is awful. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Brad was more prepared to leave this world than most. He loved his family, understood the law of sacrifice, and obeyed all of God's laws. There is no doubt where Brad is now, and what type of work he is engaging in. Brad left behind a legacy that won't soon forget him. Here's to you Brad.....
